- As far as I know, there are two editions of Visual C++ 4.0; the regular
- edition, and the subscription edition. The difference between is that
- the latter will get you upgrades for a whole year; for example, last year
- I bought the subscription edition of Visual C++ v. 2.0; that got me versions
- 2.1, 2.2, and 4.0.
